Okay, hi. Welcome to my corner of the internet.
Quick version of who I am: I’m Brit — a mom, I’ve got a job, and I do not have the budget — or, let’s be real, the time — to chase every designer drop. But I still want to look put-together walking out the door, even on the mornings I’m running on cold coffee and four hours of sleep. So somewhere along the way I got really, really good at one thing: making affordable stuff look expensive.
And apparently I can’t stop talking about it. Hence, this blog.
What this is
B Bought What is basically me texting you back after you ask “wait, where’d you get that?” — except now it’s organized and I can add pictures.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- Hauls & Finds — the affordable stuff I actually bought, with honest takes. Wins and “well, that was a waste of $30.”
- Outfit & Style — expensive-looking outfit formulas you can genuinely recreate, not fantasy looks that need a stylist.
- Worth-It Reviews — is the cheaper version actually good, or do you need to spend more? I’ll give you a straight answer and a rating.
- Lifestyle — the real-life stuff: quick routines, mom-and-career survival bits, the occasional reset when everything’s chaos.
My one promise
I only hype things I’d actually buy again with my own money. When something’s not worth it, I’ll say so — even if it’s cute, even if everyone’s posting it. The whole point of this place is that you can trust the “worth it” when I say it.
Because honestly? Between drop-off and deadlines, none of us has time to gamble on stuff that might be junk. That’s my job now. I do the digging so you don’t have to.
So poke around, read a few things, and if I point you toward something you end up loving for way less than you expected — that’s the whole game.
More very soon.
